too good to train firstly id like to thank all of the streatham faithful fans and players who made me feel so welcome at the club and ive had a great couple of seasons id like to think id contributed in my own small way at the skins and i can assure u whenever i doned a streatham jersey i played with all my heart and left everything on the ice as most of you know ive played with a fractured cheekbone and dislocated jaw and also broke my foot returning earlier then doctors recommended to help the team push for play offs.
but im not gonna lie and tell you im happy with the things ive heard on my departure from the team as ive heard from more then one reliable source that ive that ive been quoted as saying im "too good to stay at streatham" said by certain members of the management team.
id like to to say im disgusted and feel really dissapointed, let down and mostly hurt by these comments.
i had offers from other teams but chose to travel 2 hours there and back from bournemouth to have the pleasure of being part of such a great team sometimes not getting home til 4 in the morning knowing i was up for work at 6 the same day.
the main reasons i left the club was down to work commitments and wedensday trainings are no longer an option for me and thursdays are plus i was offered a decent deal from haringey which i couldnt turn down if you must know i wasnt going to even play this year for anyone!
hope this puts the record straight its from the horses mouth as they say!
once again id like to say thank you so much to everyone who i counted as friends at the high road.
much love

nathan glad to see that you took the time to put the record straight.we are only fans and fully appreciate your efforts in a redskins shirt.you aways gave 100% effort whether you were fully fit or playing with an injury.whoever it was on the management commitee making those comments was sadly misguided good luck next season look forward to seeing you when we play harringey.

thank you so much for your comments support and reply tomy message essexredskin. i did want to set the record straght as i may not be as good as players like joe johnston but ivr only been skating since i was 16 so quoting me as saying im too good to train hit a nerve because if i hadnt put all the time in to train i wouldnt even be able to play in this league at this level. thanks again

thanks Webby. As always its good to hear from the actual player and not the rumours that fly around season after season. Thanks for your time at Streatham, as you know we did have a laugh and share some good times on and off the ice.
Good luck north of the river, but of course not too much. See you soon x

I haven't heard any remarks about Webby, but I wish he had talked to someone-The Bruins will be training on Thursdays!
There is a rumour that Haringey Ice Rink will close next summer and the temporary replacement won't be suitable for ice hockey. :(
