The Bruins travelled down to Gosport on Sunday to play the Solent & Gosport Devils. After a 18-3 loss at Streatham we were certain that this was going to be a difficult trip. The Bruins soon found themselves 2-0 up, but a major effort by Gosport turned the period round and at the first interval Gosport lead 3-2. Gosport then fired home 3 unanswered goals in the second period ending 6-2 up. The Bruins were determined during the break to get something out of the game and matched Gosport in the third period the Final Score a 7-3 win for Gosport.
The Bruins put in a fantastic performance and showed just how much heart this team has. Special mention goes to stefan for his mom, with 97 shots on the tiny ice was a fantastic performance, and also to Rob England on a solid performance on defence and also scoring his first goal for the Bruins. After such a hard start to the season the Bruins are starting to click and will not roll over for any team. Next game Invicta away then on 22nd November the Bruins are home to Slough(should be a close game well worth £3 entrance).
Thank you all for the support the Bruins are getting, from everyone at Streatham.
